The Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee is sponsoring four $2,000 scholarships that seek to support students who have been impacted by brain aneurysm or brain tumor, engage in public outreach and awareness of brain aneurysms and/or work with that population through their area of study.
These scholarships are available for Undergraduate Students attending an accredited Maine institution pursuing a degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) or Graduate Students attending an accredited Maine institution pursuing a degree in PT (DPT), OT (MS OT), or PA (MS). Academic requirements include a GPA of >3.0, and the student must be an upperclassmen (ADN or BSN programs).
These scholarships were established in 2016 in memory of four young ladies from Maine that passed away from ruptured Brain Aneurysms or Brain Tumor:

Applications available: March 16, 2023It is hoped that recipients will attend the KAT-Walk & Karo-5K for Brain Aneurysm Awareness on September 16, 2023 to receive the Scholarship and publicly thank the donors at the event.

Notification of Recipients: August 16, 2023
Scholarship Presentation: September 16, 2023
